Dash Introduces One of Its Largest Updates

Dash has released Evolution 0.13, a massive update that greatly increases its functionality. One of the primary new features is InstantSend, enabling instantaneous transactions.

Will this update be enough to breathe life into the struggling cryptocurrency?

Dash is a cryptocurrency designed to optimize the online payment process. Here’s a short YouTube video explaining how it works:

Initially Dash was one of the top 10 cryptocurrencies, but lately it has progressively weakened. This is due to a lack of communication from the dev team and core members of the team leaving.

Of course, the remaining members of the Dash team insist Dash is going strong, but will it recover? Only time will tell. Updates like this are definitely a step in the right direction, though.

Even this release was a surprise however, with minimal communication from the team before the update was deployed.

I appreciate Dash’s goal of becoming a simplified, PayPal-esque payment system that is focused on making the user experience as simple as possible.

However the Dash team really needs to hire some community managers and greatly increase their communication with the community.

I’m also unsure how they handle the fact that both Dash’s founder and chief architect have left. That’s a pretty big red flag.

I am rooting for Dash though. In a field littered with cryptocurrencies where I have to struggle to explain their purpose, Dash’s goal can be summarized in a brief sentence: Make payments easier.

Time will tell whether this embattled crypto can recover the ground it’s lost over the years.

Dash is worth approximately $630 million, here’s hoping they become a multibillion dollar crypto over time.

Hang in there crypto bros! The overall market is stabilizing right now, if we’re lucky the bear market is over and cryptos like Dash can start growing again.
